The music will be performed by the Hollywood Film Orchestra in a spectacular show featuring light installations\, laser projections\, and selected film clips. Star soloists from the original Broadway production will perform excerpts from “The Lion King\,” Zimmer’s most popular blockbuster.   \nNo other composer has influenced the film world as much over the past two decades as Oscar\, Golden Globe\, and Emmy Award winner Hans Zimmer\, with his breathtaking compositions for films such as “James Bond\,” “The Lion King\,” “Pirates of the Caribbean\,” “Gladiator\,” “The Dark Knight\,” “Man of Steel\,” “Inception\,” and “Interstellar.” \nAcclaimed German composer Hans Zimmer\, who has written the scores for more than 200 films\, won his second Oscar for “Dune” (2022)\, after receiving his first Academy Award for “The Lion King” (1994). \nHans Zimmer has described Ennio Morricone as his idol and role model; excerpts from Morricone’s repertoire\, including “The Good\, the Bad\, and the Ugly” and “Once Upon a Time in the West\,” will be featured. Zimmer followed Morricone’s example of composing the film score before—rather than after—filming and left his mark on the entire work. For over 35 years\, he has been delighting his audiences as a cabaret artist\, musician\, author\, and television host—with an unmistakable blend of humor\, music\, and subtle\, thoughtful undertones.\nHis artistic roots lie in the Rhineland Carnival\, where his career began in the late 1980s. He later gained nationwide recognition through radio and television programs\, including as a long-time cast member of the cult show “7 Tage\, 7 Köpfe.” BERND STELTER has also enjoyed great success as an author: In addition to humorous nonfiction books\, he has published several novels—including his popular camping mysteries—which have made it onto the SPIEGEL bestseller list.\nFor many years\, the stage has been at the center of his artistic work. He successfully tours throughout Germany with his solo shows—always striving not only to make his audience laugh but also to make them think. Music plays a special role in this: As a singer and multi-instrumentalist\, BERND STELTER weaves stories and songs into deeply personal moments.\nIn his new show\, “Sonne im Herzen\, Blödsinn im Kopp!” (Sun in the Heart\, Nonsense in the Head!)\, he puts this very musical side front and center.
