DESCRIPTION:The Power of Words\n23rd Gronau Poetry Slam on November 27\, 2026\, at Cinetech Gronau \nThe Cinetech in Gronau will once again become a mecca for wordsmiths at the 23rd Gronau Poetry Slam.\nThe concept behind this consistently captivating stage show is as simple as it is effective. Five brave writers compete against one another with texts they’ve written entirely on their own\, using their whole bodies in their performances. Whether it’s a short story or a poem\, read from a script or performed from memory\, shouted or whispered—anything that comes from the writer’s own pen and fits within a tight six-minute time slot may be presented. As varied as the performances are\, they all have one thing in common: the participants’ verbal acrobatics are impressive and make the audience laugh\, reflect\, or even move them to tears. The audience is actively involved; through scoring and the intensity of their applause\, they decide who advances to the next round and ultimately emerges as the winner of the poetry contest.
