The aim is also to cover as many different trades as possible.  \nOf course\, there will be children’s entertainment for the youngest visitors and a cozy trade fair café for all visitors\, where they can enjoy refreshments and chat with others. \nCompanies that have not previously exhibited at a trade fair are welcome to seek advice on presentation options and advertising materials.

DESCRIPTION:Painting meets music: new art exhibition at Georg’s Gallery \nA new art exhibition is on the program at Georg’s Gallery from February: artist Carsten Hölscher from Ahaus is presenting an extensive selection of his pictorial works for the first time under the title “Painting and Drawing”. The Gronau Community Foundation invites you to the vernissage on February 7\, 2026 at 7 pm\, admission is free. Carsten Hölscher is best known to many as a musician. His artistic talent became apparent early on\, initially with a clear focus on music. He studied electric bass and double bass\, built his own recording studio in Ahaus in 2005\, now works as a music producer and music teacher and regularly performs on stage with the Wild Honey Acoustic Trio. It is only in the last few years that he has also devoted himself more intensively to the visual arts.      \nAs an autodidact\, Hölscher developed his own signature style. His motifs are predominantly landscapes from the Münsterland region\, which he captures both in drawings and oil paintings on canvas. More abstract works in which he explores the physicality of color itself are also his specialty. His works are characterized by calm moods\, clear lines and a close connection to his home region. For Hölscher\, art means above all expression\, deceleration and a conscious view of his surroundings.     \nThe works can be viewed from February 7 to March 28\, 2026\, on Fridays during market hours from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and additionally on February 22 and March 15 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. \nWith this exhibition\, Georgs Galerie not only offers insights into the artistic work of a regional artist\, but also a varied cultural event that combines art and music in a special way. The exhibition will conclude with a special highlight: on March 28\, 2026\, the artist’s band will give a concert at Georg’s Galerie. They will present an eclectic mix of styles from pop\, jazz\, soul\, rock’n’roll and country\, bringing the combination of visual art and music to life once again. DESCRIPTION:lively is collaborating with the internationally renowned artist Susanne Witzig from Borken(www.susannewitzig.de) and on October 19\, 2025 at 3 p.m.\, we will be opening a permanent exhibition of around 25 of her works in our lively communal space. The colorful and profound works fit wonderfully into our house and promise an inspiring art experience. The opening will last until around 7 p.m.\, and drinks and snacks will of course be provided. The exhibition is also open to external visitors after the opening.

However\, our exhibition is also highly recommended for doctors\, nursing staff and the like. \nThe basis for this is the extensive collection of exhibits\, consisting of preserved human bodies\, organs and moulages. In addition to the exhibits\, detailed explanations\, multimedia presentations and educational panels on general and specific topics relating to the human body serve to impart knowledge.\nThe exhibition “The human body – learning from the dead” offers pupils and teachers a comprehensive educational program.  The anatomical exhibition deals with all curriculum-related topics for grades 6 – 12 and makes a significant contribution to further training in medical professions. \nThe main topics are:\nSkeleton\, brain and nervous system\, heart and blood circulation\, respiratory tract and lungs\, musculoskeletal system\, reproductive organs\, kidneys and urinary tract\, sensory organs \nIn addition\, visitors are given the opportunity to explore the topics of organ donation\, cancer\, HIV\, alcohol and nicotine in detail.\nThe exhibitions deliberately avoid lurid\, unnatural poses and sensationalism (no corpses having sex\, etc.) when presenting the full-body exhibits.\nThe dignity of the dead is respected by presenting all exhibits in glass showcases. The muscles have not been artificially colored red. Visually\, the exhibits resemble the body donors on the dissection tables at universities\, which are used by future doctors to study anatomy. The plastinated exhibits on display are on loan to medical faculties from Corcoran Laboratories\, Michigan (USA) – the leading American manufacturer of medical specimens. The company is making the exhibits available to\nfor the duration of the exhibition. The exhibits will be returned at the end of the exhibition.      \nThe American body donors (Body Donation Program/Willed Body Program) have stipulated during their lifetime that their bodies are to be available for the training of medical professionals and the education of lay people after their death. \nIn the USA\, around 20\,000 people donate their bodies to anatomy every year. The preservation process used in the exhibits was developed by Dow Corning Corporation of Midland\, Michigan\, USA. Corcoran Laboratories has held the worldwide patent rights for this process since 1996. We would like to point out that we exhibit real human bodies and not plastic imitations or mannequins. DESCRIPTION:Two galleries – one artist: exhibition to mark the 125th birthday of Clemens Wieschebrink  \nTo mark the 125th birthday of the Westphalian artist Clemens Wieschebrink (1900-1971)\, Georgs Galerie in Gronau-Epe and Galerie Kappmeier in Ahaus are presenting a joint retrospective of his work. The joint exhibition runs from August 16 to September 20\, 2025 and offers a comprehensive insight into the multifaceted work of the painter from Ochtrup. Under the title “Clemens Wieschebrink – Cooperation exhibition on the occasion of his 125th birthday”\, both galleries are showing a carefully coordinated selection of key works from various phases of the artist’s career. It becomes clear how Wieschebrink’s work fluctuated stylistically between figuration and abstraction – always with people at the center.     \nA life for art \nBorn on August 15\, 1900 in Münster\, Wieschebrink spent his formative artistic years in Wuppertal\, Hamburg\, Munich and Paris. As a student of Karl Hofer at the Vereinigte Staatsschulen in Berlin (1927-1932)\, he developed his characteristic style: a combination of clear contours\, a broken color palette and an increasingly abstract view of people. He grew up as the son of the ophthalmologist Heinrich Wieschebrink and his wife Amalie Wieschebrink. His mother was born Laurenz and\, as co-partner of Textilwerke Laurenz in Ochtrup\, she was able to support her son financially as he took his first steps into the art world and also enabled him to travel.    \nTwo places – one homage \nThe two participating galleries have different focuses: While Georg’s gallery in Gronau-Epe presents late works from the mid-1940s to the mid-1950s\, Galerie Kappmeier in Ahaus is dedicated to the artist’s entire creative period. The artworks in Georg’s gallery are not for sale – the paintings in the Kappmeier gallery mostly are.  \nOpening hours & events \nThe exhibition can be viewed at the Kappmeier Gallery from August 16\, 2025 (Tuesdays to Fridays 10-12:30 and 14-18 and Saturdays from 10-14) and at Georg’s Gallery from August 17\, 2025 from 14 (and Fridays during market hours from 9 to 12).  Admission is free of charge. There is also another event highlight: on August 30\, 2025 (2 pm to approx. 5:30 pm)\, art lovers can take part in a guided art.bike.tour\, during which both galleries will be visited by bike.
