DESCRIPTION:„Prayer of Remembrance“ – Konzert für Viola und Klavier in Georgs Galerie \nAm Samstag\, 20. Juni 2026\, lädt das Haus Lebenstein um 19 Uhr zu einem besonderen Konzertabend in Georgs Galerie in Epe ein. Unter dem Titel „Prayer of Remembrance“ präsentieren der Bratschist Semjon Kalinowsky und der Pianist Nikolai Abramov ein außergewöhnliches Programm für Viola und Klavier. \nDas Konzert versteht sich als interreligiöser musikalischer Dialog und verbindet spirituelle Tiefe mit musikalischer Vielfalt. Inspiriert von der jüdischen Liturgie entsteht ein eindrucksvoller Bogen zwischen Tradition und Moderne. Neben bekannten Werken wie Max Bruchs „Kol Nidrei“ und Ernest Blochs „Prayer“ erklingen auch selten gespielte Kompositionen\, die die Musiker im Rahmen intensiver Recherchen wiederentdeckt haben – darunter Werke von Joseph Sulzer und Joachim Stutschewsky. \nDie seltene Besetzung von Viola und Klavier verspricht dabei ein besonders facettenreiches Klangerlebnis – mal innig und meditativ\, mal expressiv und kraftvoll. \nSemjon Kalinowsky zählt zu den profilierten Botschaftern seines Instruments und ist international als Solist und Kammermusiker tätig. Sein besonderes Interesse gilt der Wiederentdeckung vergessener Werke und der Erweiterung des Viola-Repertoires.
