DESCRIPTION:Throughout downtown Gronau\, you’ll find a colorful display of lights\, an ice rink\, curling\, and lovely stalls and shops. Get ready for the Gronau Christmas Market!  \nMore information will follow. \n  \nCurling in the heart of downtown Gronau  \n“Volksbank Gronau-Ahaus eG has been supporting the curling rink for many years\, and we’re delighted to be able to offer curling again this year\,” said Elke Rinke from the city’s marketing department. “And the Volksbank Kids Curling Cup is taking place for the ninth time\, and this year we’ve once again invited all children in the 3rd and 4th grades of elementary schools to participate. Almost all time slots are already fully booked\,” she added. \nAdults will also find plenty to enjoy: Sipping mulled wine in a cozy atmosphere\, competing against each other\, and sliding the curling stone to the “Daube” from a prime spot—whether with your regulars’ table\, coworkers\, or friends: Starting now\, you can book the curling rink right next to St. Antonius Church in the heart of the Gronau Christmas market. Tickets for the individual time slots from December 10–13 are now available at the Tourist Information Office and at https://gronau-inside.de/produkt-kategorie/eisstockbahn.  \n  \nSing-Along for Children and Adults in the Epe Neighborhood  \n“Every Year Again” and “Silently Falls the Snow”: Visitors to the Christmas market can look forward to the big sing-along. On Friday\, December 4\, the popular event will take place once again—this time in the Epe neighborhood at St. Agatha Church. “We’d like to establish this event in both neighborhoods and are delighted that it’s taking place in Epe this year. In 2027\, we’ll be back in Gronau\, so that all the children in the schools in Gronau and Epe\, in particular\, can enjoy singing together\,” says Luana Dörken from the city’s marketing department. The Children’s Rodel Singing event\, presented by Volksbank Gronau-Ahaus eG\, will take place on Friday\, December 4\, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at St. Agatha Church in Gronau-Epe. Schools (elementary schools\, grades 1–4) can still register: Registration for the “Rodelsingen” in Epe on Friday\, December 4\, 2026 – fill out the form    \nLink: https://forms.cloud.microsoft/e/AhbNzwyFjD \nAt 7 p.m. that evening\, there will be a big sing-along for everyone. “Admission is free\, and everyone is warmly invited to join in and get into the Christmas spirit\,” the announcement continues.
