A valid radiotelephone certificate is required even if the radio is switched off. \nThe VHF radiotelephone certificate for inland navigation (abbreviation: UBI) is an official certificate and authorizes the operation of VHF radio equipment in inland navigation.\nThe Short Range Certificate (SRC) is an internationally valid radio operating certificate.
