DESCRIPTION:Travel back to your own past through music.\nA journey through music history that quickly takes you back to your own past—that’s what the rock’n’popmuseum regularly offers music lovers aged 60 and older. The guided tours take place on the first and third Wednesday of each month at 2:30 p.m.  \nA few notes ring out\, and there it is again—that goosebump-inducing moment\, just like back then with that first kiss\, that first heartbreak\, or a spectacular concert. Probably everyone has memories like these\, closely intertwined with certain songs and bands. But the 60-plus generation\, in particular\, has plenty of these memories to draw on. A special guided tour is now dedicated to their world of experiences. Elvis\, the Beatles\, Pink Floyd\, rebels\, hippies\, rockers\, punks\, civil rights activists—they all make an appearance on this journey through the world of music at the rock’n’popmuseum. Through videos\, interviews\, personal artifacts\, and photos—all made possible by state-of-the-art technology—they come impressively close to the visitors. The journey through music history thus becomes a journey into one’s own past and through one’s own memories. After the tour of the exhibition\, participants are warmly invited to share their impressions over coffee and cake.        \nThe cost of the tour is 19.00 euros and includes admission\, the tour\, and coffee and cake. Start: 7:30 p.m.   \nHere are the dates: \nMay 7\, 2026 Warm-up Tour\n– A beginner-friendly course with a short first lap and a second\, longer lap –  \nJune 11\, 2026: ’80s Tour\n– Music from the ’80s accompanies the tour\, and participants are encouraged to wear are encouraged –\nJuly 2\, 2026 Asphalt Tour\n– Your favorite music sets the pace as you roll along the asphalt around Gronau –\nAugust 6\, 2026 Beach Tour\n– During the summer vacation\, this tour offers plenty of that vacation feeling –\nSeptember 3\, 2026 Moonlight Tour\n– We drive into the darkness by moonlight\, and the many lights create a special atmosphere. \nHalfway through the tour\, there will be a short break during which refreshments will be served. DESCRIPTION:We’ve all been there: A cherished item—like your favorite sweater\, an old music box\, or a toaster—just breaks from one day to the next. Broken items\ndon’t always have to end up in the trash right away—in some cases\, with a little expertise and some skill\, they can be quickly repaired.  \nSince October 2018\, volunteers at the Gronau Repair Café have been on hand every first Saturday of the month to perform minor repairs in exchange for a donation. You can watch them work up close\nand learn how to fix the problem yourself next time.  \nReparaturTreff sees its services as a stand against the “throwaway society” and aims to provide a social gathering place.

DESCRIPTION:Travel back to your own past through music.\nA journey through music history that quickly takes you back to your own past—that’s what the rock’n’popmuseum regularly offers music lovers aged 60 and older. The guided tours take place on the first and third Wednesday of each month at 2:30 p.m.  \nA few notes ring out\, and there it is again—that goosebump-inducing moment\, just like back then with that first kiss\, that first heartbreak\, or a spectacular concert. Probably everyone has memories like these\, closely intertwined with certain songs and bands. But the 60-plus generation\, in particular\, has plenty of these memories to draw on. A special guided tour is now dedicated to their world of experiences. Elvis\, the Beatles\, Pink Floyd\, rebels\, hippies\, rockers\, punks\, civil rights activists—they all make an appearance on this journey through the world of music at the rock’n’popmuseum. Through videos\, interviews\, personal artifacts\, and photos—all made possible by state-of-the-art technology—they come impressively close to the visitors. The journey through music history thus becomes a journey into one’s own past and through one’s own memories. After the tour of the exhibition\, participants are warmly invited to share their impressions over coffee and cake.        \nThe cost of the tour is 19.00 euros and includes admission\, the tour\, and coffee and cake. DESCRIPTION:They’ll be performing “live” again on September 17 at 7:00 p.m. at the “Schoppe” on the Detert farm\, Brinker Hook 16 in Epe; Tönne Speckmann and Kalle Höper\, the stars of “Präötkes\, Pils und Polka\,” a full-length show featuring plenty of Low German stories from the vibrant everyday life of the little farming village of Spökenbiärg—that godforsaken backwater you can only reach with a lot of prayer and several transfers. In their usual style\, the two present—with mischievous charm—another multifaceted program featuring new stories: earthy\, hearty\, and humorous\, but above all\, full of hidden meaning. As always\, Tönne Speckmann will be accompanied by his congenial partner Kalle Höper on accordion and piano\, performing well-known melodies.   \nThe story revolves around visitors from Africa at Strohkötter’s farm or the turmoil caused by the sudden death of the magnificent bull “The Great Bellheim\,” it covers everything from time-honored funeral rituals to the experiences of the “Guided Prayer” pilgrimage group in Lourdes\, as well as Sunday family gatherings that get out of hand. But the real star of the evening is the venue—and it’s truly special: Carl Josef Detert has made his tavern available for this evening\, creating a magnificent atmosphere that’s perfectly suited to the two of them. Admission is free; a donation box for a good cause should be filled by the end of the evening.

Young and old\, singles and families meet here – everyone is cordially invited! We meet to celebrate God together – with songs accompanied by the band and a sermon that challenges us to live with God. Because we believe that he loves us humans and wants to meet us.    \nAfter a joint start\, all children between the ages of 3 and 12 are invited to join the children’s service on the adjacent meadow.
