DESCRIPTION:Travel back to your own past through music.\nA journey through music history that quickly takes you back to your own past—that’s what the rock’n’popmuseum regularly offers music lovers aged 60 and older. The guided tours take place on the first and third Wednesday of each month at 2:30 p.m.  \nA few notes ring out\, and there it is again—that goosebump-inducing moment\, just like back then with that first kiss\, that first heartbreak\, or a spectacular concert. Probably everyone has memories like these\, closely intertwined with certain songs and bands. But the 60-plus generation\, in particular\, has plenty of these memories to draw on. A special guided tour is now dedicated to their world of experiences. Elvis\, the Beatles\, Pink Floyd\, rebels\, hippies\, rockers\, punks\, civil rights activists—they all make an appearance on this journey through the world of music at the rock’n’popmuseum. Through videos\, interviews\, personal artifacts\, and photos—all made possible by state-of-the-art technology—they come impressively close to the visitors. The journey through music history thus becomes a journey into one’s own past and through one’s own memories. After the tour of the exhibition\, participants are warmly invited to share their impressions over coffee and cake.        \nThe cost of the tour is 19.00 euros and includes admission\, the tour\, and coffee and cake. DESCRIPTION:Ronja Maltzahn—“She played the cello” when Udo Lindenberg awarded her the Panik Prize for German Newcomers. Ronja’s music is at home in the wide world. She bears the name of Astrid Lindgren’s robber’s daughter and lives entirely in accordance with that prophecy. “The world is so much bigger than you think.” Her wanderlust has always carried her far and wide\, traveling across five continents with a backpack\, a book of poetry\, and a ukulele. In 2018\, she met her partner\, Fede\, in Italy; since then\, music has been their shared life. From Buenos Aires to Paris\, Toronto to Seoul\, the two have now traveled to over 30 countries with their music\, performed on more than 600 stages\, translated their songs into various languages\, and produced four studio albums featuring over 60 musical guests from all corners of the world. Her art is about more than just music. It’s about connection. About an attitude of fascinated openness to the world.\nOn stage\, Ronja moves with a dancer’s grace from the cello to the ukulele to the synthesizer\, with her partner Fede by her side on bass\, Moog\, and drum machine. She recites poetry\, tells stories\, and behind her elfin presence\, visual projections dance as a sea of colors and landscapes sweep by.           \nThe new album “FLOW” (which spells “Wolf” backward) pairs 12 songs with a picture book illustrated by Ukrainian artist Tanya (Tetiana SheWolf). Ronja stumbled upon Tanya’s art online a few years ago—she was only 15 at the time—and Tanya drew an animated music video for one of Ronja’s songs. When the war broke out\, Tanya had to leave her homeland and now lives with Ronja and Fede; she’s an integral part of the artistic family. In the new album\, the two artistic sisters have combined their languages\, blending colors and sounds into a 140-page picture book story that tells of courage\, hope\, and friendship\, and explores the meaning of home. Probably everyone has memories like these\, closely intertwined with certain songs and bands. But the 60-plus generation\, in particular\, has plenty of these memories to draw on. A special guided tour is now dedicated to their world of experiences. Elvis\, the Beatles\, Pink Floyd\, rebels\, hippies\, rockers\, punks\, civil rights activists—they all make an appearance on this journey through the world of music at the rock’n’popmuseum. Through videos\, interviews\, personal artifacts\, and photos—all made possible by state-of-the-art technology—they come impressively close to the visitors. DESCRIPTION:The Power of Words\n23rd Gronau Poetry Slam on November 27\, 2026\, at Cinetech Gronau \nThe Cinetech in Gronau will once again become a mecca for wordsmiths at the 23rd Gronau Poetry Slam.\nThe concept behind this consistently captivating stage show is as simple as it is effective. Five brave writers compete against one another with texts they’ve written entirely on their own\, using their whole bodies in their performances. Whether it’s a short story or a poem\, read from a script or performed from memory\, shouted or whispered—anything that comes from the writer’s own pen and fits within a tight six-minute time slot may be presented. As varied as the performances are\, they all have one thing in common: the participants’ verbal acrobatics are impressive and make the audience laugh\, reflect\, or even move them to tears. The audience is actively involved; through scoring and the intensity of their applause\, they decide who advances to the next round and ultimately emerges as the winner of the poetry contest.
