Bruce Springsteen even called him “one of the best drummers in the world”.   \nIn his reading performance “Mit alten Männern spiel’ ich nicht!”\, Bertram Engel takes the audience behind the scenes of these extraordinary careers. Based on his autobiography of the same name\, he tells of legendary studio moments\, creative friction\, friendships and successes with humor\, depth and great openness – straight from the horse’s mouth.  \nThe performance is more than just a reading:\nBertram Engel combines personal stories with live music and plays songs that he has written for Udo Lindenberg\, Peter Maffay and other greats. He shows himself not only as a drummer\, but also as a pianist and singer.
