As part of the “Gronau Fairtrade Movement”
\n, 1,290 “fair” St. Nicholas figurines were ordered through the Driland Kolleg at the “fair” student kiosk and picked up by 12 institutions.<\/p>\n
The city of Gronau has been a Fairtrade City for 10 years, the Driland Kolleg has been a Fairtrade School for 10 years, and there are 15 Fairtrade daycare centers and many other institutions in Gronau and Epe that support the Fairtrade cause.<\/p>\n
The St. Nicholas campaign involved family centers, daycare centers, the Bethesda Senior Center, the City of Gronau, the public library, the family education center, the SPD in Gronau and Epe, the Auenland after-school care center, and the Cultural Office.<\/p>\n
The goal for 2025 is to get even more institutions to participate in the Christmas campaign.<\/p>\n
