A special concert afternoon awaits you on October 11: The Evangelical Trombone Choir of 1886 invites you to its concert, \u201cMelodies of the World.\u201d \ud83c\udfba\u2728 <\/p>\n
Under the theme \u201cFrom Bach to Big Band,\u201d the choir will present a very special selection of musical pieces\u2014including \u201cChoral and Rock Out,\u201d \u201cMusic,\u201d and \u201cBohemian Rhapsody.\u201d \ud83c\udfb6<\/p>\n
But this afternoon is special for another reason as well: After more than 26 years, Thomas Steffan is stepping down from the conductor’s podium. \u2764\ufe0f <\/p>\n
The selected pieces are personal favorites and melodies that hold special significance for the long-time choir director. His contributions will be honored this afternoon by several speakers\u2014including Mayor J\u00f6rg von Borczyskowski. <\/p>\n
