The inspection is a joint project with the organizers of the \u201c80 Years of Peace!?\u201d exhibition. The aim is to raise awareness of the border crossing and the German-Dutch relationship. To this end, passers-by must complete a
\nquestionnaire. Those who (cannot) identify themselves will receive a temporary
\npassport replacement. <\/p>\n
Anyone who would like to cross the border at Gronau-Glanerbrug at the announced time
\nand has something to declare can inform the organizers of \u201c80 years of
\npeace!?\u201d in advance. Photos and selfies with customs officials are only permitted with their
\nconsent.<\/p>\n
The border checks will take place at random at various
\nborder crossings between Enschede\/Alst\u00e4tte and Mander\/Getelo until 20 July, always in
