Taking a Public Stand Against Violence Against Women: The \u201cOne Billion Rising\u201d Campaign \ud83e\udef6<\/p>\n
On February 14, 2025, from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m., Gronau will participate in the global \u201cOne Billion Rising\u201d campaign at Theodor-Heuss-Platz. Women all over the world\u2014on every continent, in over 200 countries, and in numerous German cities\u2014are rising up to raise awareness and call for an end to violence. <\/p>\n
The Istanbul Convention Working Group, in cooperation with the City of Gronau\u2019s Office for Gender Equality, is organizing participation in the campaign in Gronau and makes it clear: We say NO to violence in any form: no violence against women, no violence against men, no violence against children!<\/p>\n
