de oever van de Dinkel werd in 1926 aangelegd. Op de juiste momenten van de dag zorgen de geplante bomen en het stromende speltwater voor een prachtig lichtspel. Een grote vijver met bankjes nodigt uit tot verpozen en genieten. Hier kun je de vele eenden en zwanen observeren.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Er zijn ook twee speeltuinen in het park, een voor de kleintjes onder ons en een met een ge\u00efntegreerde schaatsbaan en jeu de boulesbaan.<\/p>\n<p>Als u de rivier de Dinkel oversteekt met behulp van een van de twee bruggen in het midden van het park, komt u bij de rozentuin. Een fontein zorgt hier voor rustige momenten. In het voorjaar bloeien hier de Japanse kersenbloesems en een bankje nodigt uit om te blijven staan. Het aangrenzende kermisterrein werd in 2010 gerenoveerd. Naast de B\u00fcrgersch\u00fctzen, die er hun jaarlijkse Sch\u00fctzenfest vieren, wordt het plein ook gebruikt voor evenementen zoals concerten, het Oktoberfest en nog veel meer.
