Summer at the Waldbühne

Free cultural snacks in the middle of the countryside – this is the concept behind the free event series “Summer at the Waldbühne”, which is now in its sixth year.

Thanks to the support of Stadtwerke Gronau, the cultural office will be presenting small cultural events on a total of four dates between July and August 2025 at the Waldbühne in the Inselpark. Start time is Wednesdays from 4 pm. Admission is free, a toilet and seating are available. Feel free to bring picnic blankets, snacks and drinks.

16.07.25 “Choir and more” with the women’s choir HORIZONT
The women’s choir HORIZONT Gronau opens the summer at the Waldbühne under the motto: “Choir and more”. As part of an open rehearsal in the countryside, the ladies present musical delicacies from rock, pop and Bella Italia while having great fun singing together.

30.07.25 Hitparaden Trio
Romance, emotion and atmosphere – that’s what the three musicians of the Hitparaden Trio promise. They bring back memories of times gone by with unforgotten German hits and invite you to sway and sing along.

13.08.25 The songwriters
In his new solo program, Stefan Gliwitzki from Hamelin presents German songwriters such as Hannes Wader and Reinhard Mey, who are still heroes and role models for generations today. Their songs are poetic, rebellious, ironic, romantic and, above all, timeless.

27.08.25 Kleines Besteck
The quartet “Kleines Besteck” invites you on a musical journey through time full of nostalgia and rhythm! With a rousing mix of rockabilly, country, rock ‘n’ roll, oldies and unforgettable Elvis hits, the band provides an authentic retro feeling and pure atmosphere.
