The Wiggly Animals Show – Summer Vacation Special

The summer vacation is going to be full of energy! On Sunday, July 19, 2026, at 3:30 p.m., the museum invites you to a special summer vacation edition of the popular “Zappeltiershow.” This time, visitors of all ages can look forward to a varied open-air experience at the Waldbühne—and admission is free.

Always fidgety and in a good mood, the Zappeltier spreads a cheerful atmosphere with its sometimes slightly clumsy—but all the more endearing—manner, which quickly rubs off on the audience. No sooner has the show begun than no one can stay in their seats: Everyone laughs, sings, dances, and joins in together. With plenty of charm, wit, and lots of movement, the Zappeltier provides top-notch entertainment and an unforgettable day out for the whole family.

Unlike our regular events, this time the focus is on the show and the shared experience. The usual arts-and-crafts activities and video shoot will not take place during this summer vacation special. Instead, admission is free for all visitors.

The event will take place outdoors at the Waldbühne. If the weather doesn’t cooperate, the Zappeltiershow will be moved to the Turbine music club.

The museum looks forward to welcoming many guests, young and old, and to a cheerful, lively summer afternoon full of fun, music, and good cheer.
