rock’n’pop Academy 2026

24. August um 10:00 - 16:00

rock’n’pop Academy 2026
Your sound. Your band. Your stage.

During summer break, the rock’n’popmuseum will once again become the Academy for Young Musicians: From August 24 to 26, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day, the Gronau Music School and the rock’n’popmuseum invite young people ages 14 and up to attend the rock’n’pop Academy.

For three days, everything revolves around music production, songwriting, band coaching, vocals, performance, and stage technology. Together with Dennis Buss, producer Sleepwalker, singer Svenja Ribeiro, and other coaches, participants will develop their own beats, write songs, rehearse as a band, and prepare a joint final presentation.

On the first day, the producing workshop focuses on creating beats, sounds, and tracks. Afterward, participants use these to develop their own song ideas and perform them live with a band. The workshop also covers stage presence, vocals, performance, technical aspects, setup, and soundcheck—in other words, everything that goes into turning an idea into a real moment on stage.

To wrap things up, the young people will showcase what they’ve worked on over the past three days on Wednesday, August 26, 2026, at 3 p.m. on the Turbinenbühne stage at the rock’n’popmuseum.
