Fall Fair with a Sunday Shopping Day

| The popular fall fair in Gronau will once again take place at the fairgrounds in front of the Bürgerhalle from October 9 through October 12, 2026. For four days, visitors can enjoy a varied program featuring many rides and numerous other attractions. |
| A variety of rides and culinary highlights
Once again this year, fairgoers can look forward to tried-and-true classics like the bumper cars, the chain carousel, and the Music Express. Rides like X-Factor and BigMonster are sure to provide thrills. In addition to the rides, the fair offers a wide variety of food and drinks: from bratwurst to roasted almonds and popcorn to sweets, there’s something for everyone. Traditional fair games like dart throwing, duck fishing, and can toss add to the fun. Fireworks display on October 10 at around 10 p.m. The traditional fireworks display at the Gronau Fair will take place on October 10, 2026, around 10:00 p.m. Following consultation with the district government and the fire department, the city has granted permission. By limiting the duration and providing advance notice, the city aims to minimize the impact on residents as much as possible. The city invites everyone to come and experience the traditional closing of the fair. Program highlights:

Closure of the parking lot at the community hall Due to the spring fair, the parking lot at the Bürgerhalle will be closed from October 5 through October 15, 2026. Visitors are asked to use the Park & Ride facilities on Losserstraße and Zollstraße. The parking lot at the Bürgerhalle will reopen on October 16, 2026.
