On Saturday, the European Festival for Democracy and Diversity will take place at Kurt-Schumacher-Platz. 🇪🇺

From 1:45 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., a colorful, European program with plenty of highlights awaits you here. Reinhard van Loh will guide you through the afternoon—and he’s got a few surprises in store. 😊👍
At 1:45 p.m., the band Turkuaz Müsik Karasu will kick off the afternoon. This will be followed by fantastic performances by EU City Councilwoman Susanne Reinhoffer, the ensemble “Wir sind aus der Ukraine,” the Efulim Folklore Team, two students from Driland Kolleg, the Hitparaden Trio, the Heimatverein, Carmen Lopez, and Udo impersonator Rene Oschmann.

At various information booths, you can learn about the concept of the Junior Election, the specific process of the European elections, and, of course, Europe in general. 😊

Delicious treats will be provided by Café Grenzenlos, an ice cream and pizza truck, and the Turkish Workers’ Association. In addition to delicacies from various countries, children’s activities, and a wide variety of Europe-themed booths, those interested will also have the opportunity to set up a flea market booth. You can register by calling 02562/81261.

A European breakfast buffet is available during Cafe Grenzenlos’s opening hours, starting at 9:30 a.m.
The breakfast, which includes unlimited coffee, costs 12.50 euros. Reservations can be made by calling 02562/7197100.
