On February 15, it’s Helau time again in Gronau! 🥳🎉
The traditional carnival parade in and through Gronau will once again take place as planned this year.

Due to construction work, however, there are a few changes to the route:
🔁 Changed parade route
The parade no longer goes via Enscheder Straße to the Sparkasse.
Instead, it will go:
➡️ from the traffic circle Enscheder-/Pfarrer-Reukes-/Alstätter Straße
➡️ via Alstätter Straße
➡️ on to Konrad-Adenauer-Straße
➡️ and from Franz-Kerkhoff-Straße back on the usual route towards the town hall, Eper Straße / Gildehauser Straße.

🎶 After parade party on Kurt-Schumacher-Platz (“Kurti”)
The square in front of the Protestant church is not available this year – but after many years, the party will be held on Kurti again!
DJ Pfanni will provide music there from 1 pm and the parade will be commented on live.
🏆 After the parade: award ceremony for the best floats & most creative foot groups
👑 Performance by the Gronau city triumvirate with
Stadtprinz Dennis I, Stadtprinzessin Dagmar I and Hofdame Melanie
🌟 Musical highlight:
German pop star Tommy Steiner will rock the stage with his hits and party classics from the 80s & 90s!
