Concert to commemorate St. Agatha
On Sunday, February 8, a concert will be held in St. Agatha’s Church in Epe to mark the patronal feast of St. Agatha. St. Agatha died 1800 years ago. This is therefore a special year of commemoration for the parish of St. Agatha in Epe. The concert will be given by organist Gijs van Schoonhoven and recorder player Hanne Feldhaus. They will play a varied program with works by Jacob van Eijck, Johann Sebastian Bach, Dick Sanderman and the Beatles. Gijs van Schoonhoven, a master of improvisation, will also improvise on some St. Agatha songs. The concert starts at 17:00, admission is free. A donation is requested at the exit. All are welcome.
