Greyhound Bluesband at Cafe Grenzenlos
On Saturday, March 21, 2026, the Greyhound Bluesband will be playing at Cafe Grenzenlos from 19:00. Admission is free but hats off to the band from the Netherlands.
The Greyhound Bluesband has been in existence since 1991. This originally Drentse Bluesband consists of experienced musicians from the Dutch blues scene. Musically, the band has its origins in Chicago and Texas blues. However, the musicians also perform regularly in Germany, Belgium, France and Switzerland. In addition to the band’s regular appearances, it is also used as a backing band for international blues musicians.
De Greyhound Blues Band provided full-length shows with American blues greats like Guitar Crusher, Henry Gray, R.L. Burnside, Curtis Knight, Boney Fields, Tino Gonzales, Memo Gonzalez, Jake Dawson, Leon Blue, Archie Lee Hooker, Aron Burton, Louisiana Red, Chicago Bob Nelson, Eb Davis and Michael Dotson as well as national musicians like Hans Dulfer, Oscar Benton and Rosa King.
