This year, not only will the 21st Gronau Poetry Slam take place, but there will also be a poetry slam workshop! 😎
Sophisticated wordplay, “deep” poems, funny short stories, and thought-provoking hip-hop—this workshop explores the phenomenon of poetry slam and brings texts to life on stage. Led by experienced slam poet Marian Heuser, aka Peter Panisch, the workshop takes a relaxed approach to the two fundamental elements of poetry slam: the text and the performance.
The workshop will take place on October 19 and 20, 2024, at the Gronau Family Education Center, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. each day. Participation is free, and no prior experience with poetry slam is required. The number of participants is limited to 15. The workshop is open to people of all ages who are young at heart. The results of the workshop will be presented on Friday, October 25, 2024, at the “1st Gronau NewComer Slam” at Café Backstage in the Rocknpopmuseum.
