The “Children’s Theater” season starts this Sunday! 😊
Ugolino the clown really lets loose, and the rousing pirate songs he’s written himself underscore his dream of the sea. Together with the children, he creates a symphony of sounds—the rush of waves, the roar of the surf, and the cries of seagulls—and uses this play to encourage the children to explore their emotions and feelings creatively. Ugolino portrays these in his own clownish way through gestures, tone of voice, and body language. The clown is delighted by the sounds of the waves and gets annoyed when trash is scattered all over the beach—hence the song about trash.
With this play, Ugolino encourages children to engage creatively with their emotions and feelings, so that they can recognize and express them.
The play begins at 4:00 p.m. at the Luise Youth Center, Schiefe Str. 41, in Gronau. Admission is 3.00 euros per person. The play is suitable for children ages 3 and up.
