Companies in the Borken district are opening their doors to help young people enter the workforce.
On Thursday, November 19, 2026, numerous companies offering apprenticeships in the Borken district will once again open their doors from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. — in a relaxed atmosphere and without a set program.
During the event, participating companies welcome interested high school students, young adults, parents, and other guests directly at their own locations. They provide information on-site about the company, its apprenticeship opportunities, and internships.
Those interested in apprenticeships can visit the companies freely and without pressure—and get a comprehensive picture of their potential apprenticeship position. Gaining a firsthand impression of the work environment, the team, and the tasks involved makes it easier to choose the right apprenticeship—and is often the first step toward a successful professional future.
