A Christian pop-gospel choir is being formed that will perform accompanied by a band. In addition to Christian songs, secular songs may also be sung. During the initial orientation phase, it will function as a sort of “project choir” until a certain point in time, at which point the choir’s concept will be planned for the long term.
To join the choir, you must already have some singing experience and a basic understanding of music. No one is expected to sing from sheet music or read music perfectly, but you must have a basic understanding of music and the ability to read sheet music. Of course, there’s also room to develop musically and vocally. In addition to singing the songs, the choir director will also teach vocal techniques to achieve certain sounds required for pop and gospel music.
