Attention, clubs, organizations, and initiatives! 😊
In March, applications for funding for small-scale projects will once again be accepted. As a LEADER region, Ahaus, Gronau, Heek, Legden, and Schöppingen will have access to funding from the EU LEADER program—which focuses on rural development—and from the North Rhine-Westphalia state budget through 2029. True to the motto “We shape the future HERE!”, the goal is to develop creative and sustainable projects that contribute to strengthening the region, the municipalities, and the residents.
The regional budget is earmarked for initiatives that cost no more than 20,000 euros and can be implemented between mid-May and mid-November. If funding is granted, applicants can receive up to 80% in grants.
Those wishing to apply for funding must submit a grant application to the regional management office of the LEADER region during the application period from March 1 to March 31, 2024.
To help participants quickly understand the competition guidelines and the required documentation, the Regional Management Office of the LEADER region is offering an informational session in advance on the topic of small-project funding. The event will take place online via Zoom on Thursday, February 8, 2024, at 7:00 p.m. Registration is not required; the link is available on the association’s website or can be requested by email.
Further information is available on the LEADER region’s website at www.leader-wml.de. The current call for proposals and all the necessary application documents can also be found there.
