A trip back to the Stone Age right in the heart of Gronau! 🌿
This Saturday, May 30, from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., the Waldbühne on the LAGA grounds will be transformed into an exciting gathering place for the whole family. At the Funnel Beaker Family Festival, visitors of all ages can discover how people lived in the German-Dutch border region thousands of years ago.
There are plenty of hands-on activities around the Waldbühne: painting, pottery, and jewelry-making—just like in the Stone Age. Children can also look forward to face painting and other surprises. Those who want to delve deeper into history can learn about the Funnel Beaker Culture in a small exhibition and through exciting films.
Of course, there will be plenty of food and drinks available: A food truck will be serving up delicious snacks for the perfect family afternoon.
The best part? Admission is free, and everyone is encouraged to join in! So grab your family and friends and come experience a special afternoon full of history, creativity, and fun together.
