From August 1st, ticket sales via the RVM will be discontinued at the Gronau Tourist Information Office. The reason for this is that the Westfalentarif will be removing tickets from its regular range from August 1, which must be validated before travel.
From November 1, validators will be deactivated and gradually removed from buses, trains and platforms. Tickets can still be used until this date, after which they will be invalid.
According to the information provided, from August, the Westphalia transport association will only offer tickets that are valid from purchase or with a fixed start date or time. Occasional travelers will then have several options for travelling by bus and train with the smartphone tariff eezy.nrw, the TagesTicket24 and the one-way ticket without validation field. Tickets can be purchased at ticket machines, in customer centers, on buses and trains, in the transport company’s online store and via an app.
