The Nereus Quartet invites you to a special evening of music:
✨ Christina Tsakalidou (violin)
✨ Joana Revez Mendonça (viola)
✨ Sebastian Rodriguez Tapia (violoncello)
✨ José Miguel Borges (piano)
The four musicians, who met at the Conservatorium in Brussels and are currently studying for a master’s degree in chamber music in Cologne, are performing as part of the Dörken Foundation’s “Best of NRW” scholarship program.
The program includes:
🎼 Mozart – Piano Quartet No. 2 in E flat major KV 493
🎼 Turina – Piano Quartet in A minor op. 67
🎼 Brahms – Piano Quartet in G minor op. 25
An afternoon full of classical music highlights – with a rarely performed work by Spanish composer Joaquín Turina as a special accent.
