Following the water main break on February 24, repair work at the intersection of Konrad-Adenauer-Straße and Eper Straße is still ongoing. Gronau Public Utilities has announced that, due to the ongoing work, the closure of the intersection—up to the entrance to the town hall parking lot—is expected to last several weeks.
A detour has been set up for traffic, which will run along Hermann-Ehlers-Straße and Franz-Kerkhoff-Straße. This detour continues to provide smooth access to downtown Gronau, including the Gronau Tourist Information Office, the Gronau Public Library, the Consumer Advice Center, and the Gronau Volunteer Center e.V.
