The 2023 Heimatpreis, which comes with a prize of 5,000 €, will be awarded to two organizations: The Evangelical Trombone Choir and Marching Band of the Erlöserkirche in Gronau and the altar servers of St. Agatha in Epe can each look forward to receiving the award and 2,500 € each. 🏆Congratulations!
Through its project “A Christmas Message to Our Sister City Epe (NL),” the Evangelical Trombone Choir and Marching Band of the Erlöserkirche 1957 e.V. makes an important contribution to the city’s cultural offerings and to strengthening friendly relations with our sister city, Epe.
The traditional “St. Martin’s Play” put on by the St. Agatha Epe Altar Servers’ Association is characterized by the coming together of the community and the promotion of values such as charity, tolerance, and a spirit of helpfulness.
The official presentation of the 2023 Heimat Prize will take place on Friday, November 24, 2023, in the Council Chamber on the 1st floor of the WZG, Fabrikstraße 3.
