Let’s kick off the weekend with these weekend tips:
➡️ Tomorrow, the DC Steel Bullet’s 1st Youth Tournament will take place in Gronau.
The warm-up begins at 4 p.m., and the group stage starts at 5 p.m.
Where? At the clubhouse at Kaiserstiege 281.
➡️ There will also be a theatrical walking tour of Gronau tomorrow at 6 p.m. Once upon a time, there was Grenowe…. It tells stories, not just one story. She ran through the fields with Erna—and who knows who else she knew?!
There are still a few spots available… You can get tickets at our Tourist Information office or online at www.gronau-inside.de/shop
➡️ For those who prefer something a little more musical: Tomorrow, Mathias Nelles will be performing live at @Latüchte, playing cult hits from the ’70s and NDW classics.
Start: 8:30 p.m.
Admission: €15
➡️ On Sunday, a children’s clothing swap will take place at the St. Agatha parish hall. Children’s clothing, toys, baby items, coffee, and cake will be available for purchase. The proceeds from booth fees and cake sales will be donated to the booster clubs of the Overberg School in Epe and the Helene Helmig School in Ahaus.
➡️ In addition, the children’s play “The Clown Dreams of the Sea” will take place on Sunday at 4 p.m. at the Luise Youth Center.
Ages 3 and up.
➡️ Guest organist Thorsten Pech will perform “Passacaglien”—variations ranging from the Baroque to the Romantic periods—on the Wilhelm Sauer organ at the Evangelical City Church on Sunday at 6 p.m.
Admission is free; donations to support the concert series are requested at the exit.
Have a great weekend everyone! 😊
