On November 17, it’s that time again: Five brave authors will compete against each other at the 20th Gronau Poetry Slam with short stories and poems they’ve written themselves. How will they do it? Read aloud, performed from memory, shouted, or moving to tears—it doesn’t matter, as long as it fits within a 6-minute time slot.😎
After each performance, a randomly selected audience jury awards points ranging from s (“A text that should never have been written”) to ten (“Collective ecstasy”). In the final round, the loudest applause traditionally decides the winner. 👏
This time, the participants include Florian Wintels (Osnabrück), Theresa Sperling (Nordhorn), Eva-Lisa (Mühlheim an der Ruhr), Achim Leufker (Rheine), and Johanna Bauer (Duisburg).
