Secrets, Wine, and a Life Well-Lived – A Literary Evening at the Kaufhaus der Chance

On Thursday, June 11, at 6:30 p.m., the Kaufhaus der Chance in Epe will be transformed into a very special place for literature lovers: Gronau-based author Christiane Nitsche-Costa invites you to a living-room reading surrounded by furniture, stories, and secrets.

Look forward to published and unpublished works, thrilling crime stories—including the short crime story “Endlich vegan,” which was nominated for the Glauser Prize—as well as insights into the novel “Die Geheimniskrämerin.”

Over a glass of wine and in a cozy atmosphere, guests are transported to the fictional village of Frauenend—a place full of stories, memories, and hidden secrets. In keeping with this theme, the Kaufhaus der Chance itself offers a very special setting: furniture and decorations from household clear-outs and donations tell their own unique stories.

✨ An evening of listening, discovering, and immersing yourself.
