Sometimes it’s nice to just get out and about again: to feel the wind on your face, ride through the streets, and experience your own city from a new perspective. 😊🚲
That is exactly what the KoPilot volunteer project, run by the Freiwilligenzentrale Gronau e.V., makes possible. Using an e-rickshaw, dedicated drivers give rides to people with limited mobility—whether they are seniors or younger individuals.
The focus is primarily on people who otherwise rarely—if ever—go out and have few social contacts. For them, an outing like this can quickly become a special highlight: taking a drive through Gronau or Epe, rediscovering familiar routes, striking up conversations, and simply enjoying a few pleasant hours.
💛 This offer is free.
