The BellaDonna Women’s Choir has always had a wide-ranging repertoire—in 2019, for example, it presented concerts featuring texts by Anne Frank, followed by sacred music such as Gabriel Fauré’s Requiem, and—in a completely different vein—satirical texts by Georg Kreisler. Choir director Marion Röber knows exactly how to put together the right repertoire for the choir.
This time, the women will treat us to some coffeehouse music—and of course, coffee and cake are a must! ☕ Violinist Katie Tenner, a member of the Enschede-based Ensemble Phion, will perform the classic coffeehouse sound alongside Marion Röber on piano, and the BellaDonna women’s choir will entertain with familiar and lesser-known melodies centered around coffee (and tea)—come and be surprised when Georg’s Gallery in Epe transforms into a coffeehouse on September 28 at 3 p.m. The impressive photos from Hermann Willers’ exhibition perfectly complement the concert. 😊
Tickets are available for €12.50—including coffee and cake—on Fridays starting at 9 a.m. at the gallery, Merschstraße 21.
