The Rheine Symphony Orchestra regularly performs at the Evangelical City Church—and they love doing it. 🎶
This tradition is now being expanded with a musical event: On June 15 at 6 p.m., the orchestra, under the baton of Principal Conductor Luis Andrade, will perform for the very first time on the beautifully restored Wilhelm Sauer organ at the Evangelical City Church.
The organ loft, which was expanded as part of the organ’s installation, now makes it possible to perform one of the most famous works for organ and orchestra: Concerto No. 1 in F major, Op. 137, by Josef Gabriel Rheinberger (1838–1901). The soloist is Dr. Tamás Szőcs, cantor of the Stadtkirche.
Tickets are now available at our Tourist Information Office, the bookstore on the market square, Wolbers City, Kaufhaus Nacke, and online at www.symphonieorchester-rheine.de or Eventim.
