This coming Friday, July 3, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to about 6:00 p.m., we’ll embark on a special journey through time, exploring our city’s textile history. 😊
Together with GronauInsider Klaus Wiedau, the tour begins at the steam locomotive on the station forecourt. From there, we’ll delve into the history of the former factories and trading houses that shaped Gronau over many years and turned it into an important center of the textile industry.
To wrap things up, we’ll head to the impressive Weiße Dame, where—over coffee and cake—you’ll not only get a behind-the-scenes look at “lively,” but also exciting insights into the successful transformation of this special building.
