This coming Saturday, June 20, at 6 p.m., the renowned organist Anna Scholl from Halle an der Saale will be performing at the Evangelical City Church. Her organ concert will feature works by Johann Sebastian Bach, Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy, and Johannes Brahms.🎶
Since July 2024, Anna Scholl has served as the first cantor at the historic Marktkirche Unser Lieben Frauen in Halle (Saale). The distinguished organist, harpsichordist, and conductor studied in Berlin, Stuttgart, Hamburg, and Basel, and most recently held a professorship in organ at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna. As an internationally sought-after specialist in historical keyboard instruments, she leads the CAFÉ INTERNATIONAL baroque orchestra as well as the Collegium musicum 1750.
Look forward to a concert full of tonal variety, virtuosity, and musical depth—presented by one of the most outstanding church musicians of her generation.
