This year’s “Gronau Connects” Integration Award goes to the Turo d’Izlo Cultural Association—congratulations! 😊👏

The Aramaic Cultural Association is actively and consistently committed to the integration of immigrants in Gronau. The association is particularly known for promoting inclusion and education, as well as strengthening social ties. An outstanding example of this is the project to renovate the children’s and youth center. This center offers children and young people a safe and supportive place for education, recreational activities, and social interaction.

The awards ceremony took place at the Aramaic Cultural Association’s headquarters. Following a musical interlude and a dance performance by the association’s own folk dance group, Mayor Rainer Doetkotte presented the prize, worth 900 euros, to the association’s president, Johann Dag.
