To mark International Women’s Day 2025, author Alexandra Zykunov will present astonishing, at times grotesque, yet all-too-real facts that vividly illustrate that gender equality is still far from being taken for granted. Whether it’s the higher prices of women-specific products or the granting of loans, there is still much work to be done. Fathers, too, do not truly enjoy equal rights, because obtaining time off from work when a child at home is sick is a greater hurdle than one might assume.
