Alpaca taster lesson

Experience alpacas up close: this is possible at the Röttger-Hölscher alpaca farm.

Immerse yourself in the gentle world of these fascinating animals and experience unforgettable moments in the midst of nature. The alpacas look forward to your visit and are happy to let you feed them – only if they want to, of course. If the animals have gained your trust and allow it, you may even be able to touch them gently and feel their soft wool. Enjoy the relaxed atmosphere on the pasture and let yourself be enchanted by the tranquillity of the alpacas.

This offer is particularly suitable for children, as they can move around freely. People with disabilities, walking difficulties or wheelchairs are also very welcome.

You are welcome to bring a picnic.

There are a few important rules of conduct for taking part in the trial lesson and handling the alpacas:

• Wear clothes that can get dirty.
• Do not take “human food” into the meadow, as alpacas cannot tolerate it.
• Do not crowd the animals, as they may then spit, kick or bite.
• Dogs cannot be taken onto the meadow, so it is best to leave them at home.
