Blood glucose measurement on World Diabetes Day at St. Antonius Hospital Gronau

To mark World Diabetes Day on Friday (November 14), diabetes consultants Andrea Klesse and Stefanie Stromberg are offering free blood glucose testing for anyone interested in the foyer of St. Antonius Hospital in Gronau. From 9 am to 12 noon, visitors and employees can have their blood glucose levels determined and professionally assessed without any complications.

“A small prick can provide a lot of important information,” emphasize the two diabetes consultants. The aim of the campaign is to raise awareness of diabetes as a widespread disease. Over eleven million people in Germany currently live with the disease.

Especially in hospital, close-knit care plays a decisive role in ensuring the best possible care outside of the home environment. The certified Diabetes Center (DDG) at St. Antonius Hospital, which is part of the Department of Internal Medicine II, provides individual support for patients.
