Carnival parade

On February 15, it’s Helau time again in Gronau! 
The traditional carnival parade in and through Gronau will once again take place as planned this year.
Due to construction work, however, there are a few changes to the schedule:
Changed relocation routeThe move no longer leads via Enscheder Straße to the Sparkasse.
Instead, it works:
from the traffic circle Enscheder-/Pfarrer-Reukes-/Alstätter Straße via Alstätter Straße continue to Konrad-Adenauer-Straße and from Franz-Kerkhoff-Straße return to the usual route in the direction of the town hall, Eper Straße / Gildehauser Straße.
After-train party on Kurt-Schumacher-Platz (“Kurti”)
The square in front of the Protestant Church is not available this year – but after many years we will be celebrating on the Kurti again!
DJ Pfanni will be providing music there from 1 p.m. and the parade will be commented on live.
After the parade: awards for the best floats & most creative foot groups
Performance of the Gronau city triumvirate withCity prince Dennis I, city princess Dagmar I and lady-in-waiting Melanie
Musical highlight:The German pop star Tommy Steiner will rock the stage with his hits and party classics from the 80s and 90s!
