Children’s theater “Schneewitte and the last fruit dwarf”
On Sunday, 18.01.2026, the beginning of the year will be celebrated with the Kreuz&Quer Theater from Duisburg. The play “Schneewitte und der letzte Fruchtzwerg” will turn the public library upside down.
This play will be performed at 4 pm and is for children aged 4 and over. Admission costs 3 euros per person.
A play about having to go to bed and not wanting to. Grimm prefers to go to bed early, read a bit more in his fairy tale book and then go to sleep, because sleep before midnight is the healthiest!
But he can’t, because there’s Gebrr – and Gebrr once again doesn’t want to go to bed, isn’t tired, is hungry, is afraid to be alone in bed and finds one excuse after another to avoid having to sleep.
Although Grimm is sooo tired, he has to read Gebrr a fairy tale again, the fairy tale of Snow White.
And as it happens with these two, they are soon in the middle of the story. Snow White, the wicked stepmother, the huntsman, the seven dwarfs and the prince are romping around in their beds – and sleep is out of the question.
At the end there is the obligatory kiss and Gebrr finally falls asleep, only Grimm lies wide awake in bed.
