Concert “Melodies of the world”
The Evangelical Trombone Choir of 1886 will present its concert “Melodies of the World” on October 11. Theme: From Bach to Big Band.
For Thomas Steffan, this marks his farewell from the conductor’s podium. The musical selections are a compilation of hits that hold special meaning for the choir director. Among them are songs such as “Choral and Rock Out,” “Music,” and “Bohemian Rhapsody.” Thomas Steffan has led the Evangelical Trombone Choir of 1886 for more than 26 years. This achievement will be honored that afternoon by several speakers, including Mayor Jörg von Borczyskowski.
