Jan van Weyde – “Weyder geht’s!”

Ladies and gentlemen! Here it is – the second child, the second program, the second big cap!
Weyder is on the move! Jan van Weyde talks about the daily madness of being a working dad to two young daughters – one in the throes of anger, the other in the middle of teething puberty. His day starts at 6:30 in the morning with brushing his teeth, painting unicorns and dressing up in Disney costumes – until the children are awake. Then the older one has to go to school and the younger one to “Tinder dates”, as she calls it.

Always there: dog Holly, who turns into a grumpy granny and nags passers-by at the window. Jan juggles between job and family – sometimes with bravura, sometimes with chaos. Breaks? Not a chance. Not even his bed belongs to him – it’s long been a children’s playground.
And while he ends up in mini hotel beds on tour and feels like a schoolboy at parents’ evenings, life asks him the big questions:
What do babies dream about? What do you call female meerkats? And are you allowed to “accept cookies” at Weight Watchers?
