Jazz Festival: Götz Alsmann / Les Brünettes
First Acts Announced: Götz Alsmann and Les Brünettes Bring Jazz Hits and Girl Power to Gronau The Jazzfest is already generating excitement: From April 27 to May 2, 2027, Gronau will once again become the epicenter for jazz and music enthusiasts. For what is now the 39th Gronau Jazz Festival, the Gronau Cultural Office can already announce the first two high-profile confirmations for the lineup.
The charming entertainer, multi-instrumentalist, and Münster native Götz Alsmann returns to the festival stage on Wednesday, April 28, with his brand-new program “Kompliment…” The distinct jazz approach with which Götz Alsmann tackles the lyrical, philosophical, melancholic, rustic, and humorous messages of the songs, Schlager, and chansons has made him and his musicians leading interpreters of their unique art form, “Jazzschlager.” The audience can look forward to an evening full of virtuoso swing, wordplay, and elegant musical expressions as Götz Alsmann and his outstanding band thoughtfully bestow musical compliments in their new program—all while occasionally letting their music run a bit wild.
The four-member a cappella group Les Brünettes will kick off the evening’s musical program. Over the past 16 years, these vocal artists have established themselves as a fixture and leading force on the European vocal scene. They have released five albums, sung into the Beatles’ microphones at Abbey Road Studios, performed at the Elbphilharmonie in Hamburg, collaborated with the HR and WDR Big Bands, and were featured on the “heute journal.” With their clever blend of jazz, pop, and soul, as well as their own arrangements, they break down traditional stereotypes and guarantee a musical experience full of energy and a unique sound.
This marks the official announcement of the lineup. Tickets for the double concert on April 28, 2027, are now available at the Gronau Tourist Information Office (info@stadtmarketing-gronau.de, Tel. 02562-99006), at all Eventim ticket outlets, or online at www.eventim.de. Early birds can look forward to an attractive 20% discount through September 30, 2026.
“Both Götz Alsmann and Les Brünettes embody exactly what the Jazzfest stands for: musical quality, stylistic diversity, and top-notch entertainment. We’re very pleased to be able to announce them this early in the planning process,” said Sabine Thünenkötter from the Cultural Office.
In 2027, the Gronau Jazz Festival will once again feature its tried-and-true mix of international artists, up-and-coming talents, and exciting regional bands. Since 1989, the festival has been known for its
boundless musical range, offering not only jazz, blues, swing, and funk but also pop and electronic music.
The complete program for the 39th Gronau Jazz Festival will be available online shortly at www.jazzfest.de. The festival is presented by its general sponsor, K+K, as well as numerous other supporters.
