After Miu opens the concert for Alphaville at the Gronau Jazz Festival in May, she’ll be joining us at the Musikclub in October for her own club concert—intimate, up close, and full of atmosphere.
About ten years ago, the Hamburg native made a bold decision: a flight to New York, a performance at the legendary “The Bitter End”—and shortly thereafter, she quit her job in the advertising industry. It was the starting point of an impressive career.
Mius’s music is retro-inspired soul-pop, produced with a modern touch and carried by a warm, unmistakable voice. Her songs tell of self-doubt, new beginnings, and inner exploration—honest, reflective, and emotional. It is precisely this blend that has earned her a loyal fan base and widespread acclaim.

Her music is featured in many places: in ARD’s “Tatort” productions, on Netflix, and for brands like Montblanc. Miu was also the first artist to perform at the Elbphilharmonie—even before its official opening. She has shared the stage as an opening act for artists including Macy Gray, Gianna Nannini, Leon Bridges, and Stefanie Heinzmann. She successfully launched her last two albums into the charts via crowdfunding.
On this tour, Miu presents her latest album, “Ten Times Around the Sun”—a personal, powerful work that unfolds its full intensity in a club setting.
